Will Kawhi Leonard play for the Clippers against the Lakers today?
The Clippers star is on the injury list ahead of the game against the Lakers.

For the Los Angeles Clippers, the season has been a blend of encouraging momentum and cautious optimism, much of it revolving around the health of star forward Kawhi Leonard.
After missing time with a left knee contusion, the six-time All-Star is trending in a positive direction, a development that could have significant implications for the team’s position in the Western Conference.
Leonard’s recent injury first emerged during a road trip in mid-January, when he experienced soreness in his left knee. The Clippers chose to prioritise his long-term health over short-term availability, removing him from the roster and sending him home for treatment and evaluation.
It’s been difficult to pinpoint where exactly Kawhi Leonard suffered the left knee contusion against the Pistons.

This play, however, appears to be a spot where it likely occurred, where Kawhi took two bumps to that left knee from Ausar Thompson and Paul Reed. (Hat tip to… https://t.co/HPPzOofK61 pic.twitter.com/gIYVy3Dl3M
Kawhi questionable ahead of Lakers game
On the team’s return, coaches and medical staff designated him as “questionable” for an upcoming marquee game against the Los Angeles Lakers, a clear sign that his return to action may not be far off and he is moving in the right direction ahead of time.
Before his absence, he was playing some of the most efficient basketball of his career, averaging live-saving numbers across scoring, rebounding, assists and defence, and serving as the focal point of the Clippers’ attack.
When available, Leonard has put up simply sensational numbers: 28.2 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 2.2 steals, and 2.9 threes per game; the Clippers are 15-15 when he plays, compared to 4-9 when he doesn’t.
