Will Luka Doncic play for the Lakers today against the Mavericks?

In a sense, it represents a relatively low-risk opportunity to get some competitive minutes before regular-season action resumes for the Lakers, although one wonders how keen California medical staff are to see him play outside of their jurisdiction.

Without Doncic in the lineup, the Lakers will lean on LeBron James, Austin Reaves and the rest of their roster to fill the void. Deandre Ayton is also listed as questionable with knee soreness.
