The Duke Devils will continue their pursuit of a sixth NCAA Division I men’s basketball title this weekend, as the 2024 March Madness tournament reaches the Elite 8 stage.
March Madness 2024: who’s playing on Sunday?
Duke, who last won the NCAA tournament in 2015, qualified for the quarter-finals with a 54-51 victory over the Houston Daredevils on Friday.
The Devils will face the NC State Wolfpack on Sunday, after the two-time March Madness winners left themselves one step away from the Final Four by defeating the Marquette Golden Eagles 67-58.
Before Duke vs NC State, Sunday’s Elite 8 action will begin with the Purdue Boilermakers vs the Tennessee Volunteers.
Purdue, who have never won the NCAA tournament, made it through the Sweet 16 stage by beating the Gonzaga Bulldogs 80-68 this midweek.
Tennessee, meanwhile, moved closer to their first ever Final Four appearance with an 82-75 victory over the Creighton Bluejays.
