2024 MARCH MADNESS

March Madness games today: NCAA Men’s D1 basketball Sunday second round matchups

Half of the teams we need are into the Sweet 16s with Sunday ready to deliver the second set, and we can’t wait for the action to start.

The sixth meeting between Michigan State and North Carolina in the history of the NCAA Men’s Tournament ended with triumph for the Tar Heels with a score of 85-69 thanks to dominant performances by RJ Davis (20p, 3 3P -FGs), Armando Bacot (18rp, 7r) and Harrison Ingram (17p, 7r, 5 3P-FGs). That double overtime excitement was one of the highlights of Saturday’s action. Now we can look ahead to see what Sunday brings and one question remains: can defending champs UConn become the first team to repeat the title win since Florida in 2006-2007?
