Baltimore Ravens fans receive worrying news over festive period
Lamar Jackson has been listed as ‘doubtful’ for their upcoming game in the NFL.

As they hurtle into a pivotal late-season game with the Green Bay Packers, Baltimore Ravens fans are covering their beaks with their wings as they face a huge period of worry regarding the most important position on the field.
Star quarterback Lamar Jackson is officially listed as doubtful to play this Saturday after suffering a back contusion in last Sunday night’s loss to the New England Patriots.
Jackson, who has thrown for 2,311 yards with 18 touchdowns and six interceptions this season, exited the game in the second quarter and did not return, leaving backup Tyler Huntley to step into the role. The injury was confirmed by coach John Harbaugh after the side performed MRI scans on the 28-year-old, with the coach saying he was day-to-day.
Results showed that it is not just a superficial bruise but a deep tissue contusion that has left Jackson unable to practice in the days following the game.

“I was trying... but it still didn’t get better”
“My legs felt great. I just got kneed in the back in the red zone. I just couldn’t finish the game,” the Ravens QB said postgame. “I was trying. I [got] a Toradol shot and stuff like that, but it still didn’t get [any] better.”
The timing could not be worse: the Ravens sit at 7-8 and need a win to keep their slim playoff hopes alive; a defeat or even a tie in Green Bay could end their postseason dreams. With Jackson missing all of this week’s practice sessions he has been listed as doubtful in the official report, meaning the chances of him playing appear slim at best.
Jackson’s absence would mark another chapter in what has been a challenging year for the two-time NFL MVP. He already missed time earlier in the season with a hamstring issue, and this latest setback adds to a growing injury record that has fans biting their nails and questioning his long-term impact in Baltimore.
Should Jackson be unavailable this weekend, Huntley is expected to take the lead role, at least giving the team some continuity.
Throwback to better times 😔
