Can Jayden Daniels do what only one QB did vs Packers last year?
The Washington Commanders’ offense will be put to the test against a tough Packers defense in Green Bay on TNF, but one analyst has faith in Jayden Daniels.
The Washington Commanders travel to Green Bay to take on the Packers at Lambeau Field in a primetime Thursday Night Football showdown. Both teams won their season debuts - the Packers knocked out the Detroit Lions and the Commanders shut down the New York Giants.
Tonight’s matchup will put the Commanders’ dynamic offense to the test when the Packers defense, including newly acquired sack-master Micah Parsons, take the field. One analyst, however, believes Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels has the ability to do something only one other quarterback did to the Packers defense last season.
NFL analyst makes bold call on Jayden Daniels vs Packers defense
NFL Network analyst Adam Rank made a bold prediction ahead of the game. Rank believes quarterback Jayden Daniels will score a rushing touchdown - something only one quarterback (Jacksonville Jaguars Trevor Lawrence) managed to do against Green Bay’s defense last season.
While Daniels’ running ability makes it possible, the Packers’ stingy track record against mobile quarterbacks raises the challenge.
Rank also predicted Packers quarterback Jordan Love will continue his impressive streak without an interception, though Washington’s defense hopes to change that with the same pressure they showed in Week 1 against the Giants.
