CeeDee Lamb injured: what is the injury and how long is he out for?
The bad news for the Dallas Cowboys continues, as star receiver CeeDee Lamb has been confirmed out after suffering a shoulder injury.
The Dallas Cowboys are officially out of contention for the 2025 NFL postseason, and the bad news doesn’t stop there.
With two games left in the season, it has been reported that they have lost their star receiver, CeeDee Lamb, to a shoulder injury.
How long will Ceedee Lamb be out for?
While surgery is not expected, Lamb will immediately begin treatment and rehabilitation to recover from the injury.
“Additional examinations and scans performed this week on CeeDee Lamb’s shoulder have determined that his injury has progressed to the point where he will be ‘out’ for the remaining two games,” reads a statement released by the team.
Lamb has reportedly been playing through a sprained AC joint in recent weeks, joining teammates Dak Prescott, Trevon Diggs, and DeMarvion Overshown on the injury list. Despite the setback, Lamb had an impressive season, recording 101 receptions, 1,194 yards, and six touchdowns.
The Cowboys face two challenging matchups against divisional rivals, the Philadelphia Eagles and the Washington Commanders. With postseason hopes dashed, they will aim to finish the season on a strong note.
