The Super Bowl is upon us, but what’s State Farm Stadium like and how much will it cost to see the Chiefs vs Eagles? Let’s find out together.

It’s the biggest show this side of the Atlantic and we’ve got an epic game in store for us when the Philadelphia Eagles take on the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2022-23 NFL Super Bowl. If you’re planning to go see the big game live, then have no fear, we’ve got the low down on the stadium, the tickets and of course the best place to get them.

State Farm Stadium is as good as it gets

Being the home of the Arizona Cardinals, State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona is definitely no stranger to the game of football. Indeed, the stadium is also home to the annual Fiesta Bowl of college football. Opened back in 2006 as the home of the Cardinals, the stadium had its name changed to University of Phoenix Stadium in September of that year, after the school acquired the naming rights. Though it was initially meant to be a 20-year agreement, it was renamed in 2018 after the insurance company, State Farm, took over. It’s understood that the company has an 18-year deal in place.

At a total cost of $455 million, the stadium stands today on a 25-acre compound known as Sportman’s Park, that also includes an 8-acre landscaped tailgating area which is called ‘The Great Lawn.’ Where seating capacity is concerned, it currently hosts a base number of 63,400 spectators, but is able to expand to 72,200. As for standing room it can host 78,000. Interestingly, the roof of the stadium which is constructed out of a translucent fabric known as Birdair, can be opened in 12 minutes. It is the first retractable roof ever built on an incline.

What about tickets for the Super Bowl?

There are a few sporting events on this planet, that are truly worth the price of entry and the Super Bowl is one of them. Of course, that price can often times be exorbitant, but such is the way when it comes to the showpiece event of one of the world’s most lucrative sports. That being said, as we all known the Super Bowl is more than just the game itself, it’s massive show that involves an epic halftime show which normally features some of the best performers around. So how much does a ticket to the NFL’s biggest game cost?

At the time of writing, the lowest price we could find on tickets was on Vivid Seats which listed tickets for $4560 before taxes. If that sounds expensive, that’s because it is. Needless to say, if you’d like to get closer to the action i.e., the 100 sections or closer, you’re looking at a starting price of $6110. To be clear, Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform, which is to say that tickets may well be more or less expensive than the actual face value, which of course depends on demand. Worried about security? Don’t be. Vivid Seats offers a 100% buyer guarantee, that states your transaction will be safe and secure, as well as your tickets will be delivered before game time. Kickoff in Arizona is set for 6:30 p.m. ET on Sunday 12th, February. Don’t miss out!
