Despite being listed as limited on the Denver Broncos estimated injury reports this week, quarterback Russell Wilson has been cleared for a Thursday Night Football showdown with the Indianapolis Colts.

Wilson, who suffered with a right throwing shoulder injury, is positive he will have no limitations going into Thursday night, downsizing his injury. “I’m hanging in there. You play a competitive game, you get banged up a couple times here and there.”

The Broncos did not expect to be 30th in scoring (16.5 points per game) through their first four games of the season, after trading three first-round picks to acquire the 33-year-old QB from the Seattle Seahawks in March. While Wilson hasn’t been bad this season, he’s 16th in passer rating and 10th in yards per attempt. The 1-2-1 Colts, who travel to the Mile High City to face the Broncos, are expecting Wilson’s best on Thursday.

Linebacker Bobby Okereke said Wilson makes the challenge against Indianapolis possible. “He’s good. He likes quick game, he’s confident in his ability to throw down the field and his ability to make plays with his feet... He’s kind of that total package guy who can really affect you in a lot of ways. Unique, tough matchup but we’re up for the challenge.”
