Cruz Azul continues negotiations for Ramiro Carrera
Iván Morales and Ángel Romero, could be the footballers who could be released by La Noria in order for the Mexico City side to meet the foreign quota.
Cruz Azul maintains steady in their intentions to sign 29-year old Argentine attacking midfielder, Ramiro Carrera, who is currently on the books at Atlético de Tucumán. The negotiation continues with the directors of the “El Decano” who own 50% of the player’s rights after making a deal with Boca Juniors.
Meanwhile, sources say Chilean striker Iván Morales could be “sacrificed” to meet the quota of foreigners for the Clausura 2023. The same would happen with the Paraguayan Ángel Romero, if he and the club are unable to reach an agreement for his renewal.
According to the Transfermarkt portal, the value of Carrera, current triggerman of the Tucuman side that fought for the Argentine soccer championship and managed to save itself from relegation, is 1.7 million dollars. In 24 games this season, all as a starter, he scored seven goals and added four assists.
