Did Dan Campbell play professional football?
It was back in 1999 when ‘Motor City Dan Campbell’ made his first appearance as a pro footballer, after being drafted by the New York Giants; he made his debut in the NFL against Arizona Cardinals. Campbell passed through teams such as Dallas Cowboys, Detroit Lions, and New Orleans Saints before retiring in 2011.

What is Dan Campbell’s salary? How much does he earn?
Dan Campbell’s contract with Detroit means he earns around $4 million a year to coach the Lions, and he signed a new, six-year deal with the team back in 2021. Curiously, before joining the Detroit Lions, Campbell had signed with the New Orleans Saints where he was both assistant head coach and tight end coach, but his annual salary with the Saints was less just half of what he earns now, around $1.5 million. He is currently one of the highest earners in the league and given his success, that figure is only set to rise.
