Derrick Henry makes history with the Baltimore Ravens
A historic afternoon against Green Bay propelled Baltimore’s star into elite company, rewriting record books in emphatic fashion.

Derrick Henry entered the pantheon of running backs after a crushing 41–24 victory over the Green Bay Packers, producing a performance for the ages. The running back delivered a career-high workload, carrying the ball 36 times for 216 yards and four touchdowns, a stat line that immediately joined the NFL’s most memorable single-game efforts.

Now with the Baltimore Ravens, Henry climbed the all-time rushing list by passing Tony Dorsett, who had long held 10th place in career rushing yards. He entered the game with 12,676 yards and eclipsed Dorsett’s 12,739 before halftime. The four touchdowns also carried historic weight, pushing Henry past Adrian Peterson into fourth place on the NFL’s career rushing touchdowns list, with 122.
Only three legends now stand ahead of him in that category: Emmitt Smith (164), LaDainian Tomlinson (145), and Marcus Allen (123). Those are the benchmarks Henry is now chasing, firmly placing his name alongside the game’s immortals.
As if that were not enough, “King” Henry already stands alone atop another exclusive list. He is the NFL’s all-time leader in games with more than 200 rushing yards, and the outing against Green Bay marked the seventh such performance of his career.
| Rank | Player | Total Yards |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Emmitt Smith | 18,355 |
| 2 | Walter Payton | 16,726 |
| 3 | Frank Gore | 16,000 |
| 4 | Barry Sanders | 15,269 |
| 5 | Adrian Peterson | 14,918 |
| 6 | Curtis Martin | 14,101 |
| 7 | LaDainian Tomlinson | 13,684 |
| 8 | Jerome Bettis | 13,662 |
| 9 | Eric Dickerson | 13,259 |
| 10 | Derrick Henry | 12,740 |
Henry’s dominance defined the Ravens’ offense on a day when Tyler Huntley started at quarterback, stepping in for the injuredLamar Jackson. With Henry setting the tone from the backfield, Baltimore never loosened its grip on the game, turning a regular-season win into a landmark moment in NFL history.
