Elon Musk buys Twitter, Tom Brady sends reminder

The Tampa Bay quarterback had previously made his request to the Tesla founder when rumours began, and as news firmed up, he was back in touch.

Update:

A few days ago there was talk that the richest person in the world would throw a whole lotta cash in the direction of social media giant, Twitter.

Musk-Twitter-Brady

Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ quarterback Tom Brady was one of many to use the platform to suggest some personal improvements that could be made, asking for the removal of the combine photo feature. The days have flown by and business has been done.

Following some pecking from shareholders, the deal was finally - barring some ink marks on paper - hatched and pushed out of the nest. Brady, too, was quick to hit retweet on his original message.

Trump staying away from Musk’s Twitter

Former U.S. President Donald Trump has said that he will not return to Twitter even if his account is reinstated following the platform’s purchase by billionaire Musk.

Trump told Fox News that he will formally join his own Truth Social startup over the next seven days, as planned.

“I am not going on Twitter, I am going to stay on Truth,” he said without a hint of irony intended. ‘I hope Elon buys Twitter because he’ll make improvements to it and he is a good man, but I am going to be staying on Truth.”
