Week 1 of Fantasy Football has come and gone, and sprang few surprises when it came to who performed well and who didn’t.

As the football season starts again, so does the most important aspect of the year, Fantasy Football. Week 1 didn’t have great surprises. Mahomes dominated, throwing five touchdowns and spreading the ball just as he promised he would before the season started. The Chiefs QB ended the week with 34.39 pts.

The Giants fans have reason to be happy. Their team beat the Titans in a very fun game, but most importantly, the revival of Saquon Barkley is a reality. The RB had an amazing game, with a score of 33.40 pts

No one had a better week than Justin Jefferson. The Vikings WR had 9 catches for 14 yards and 2 TDs against the Packers. At the end of the game, Aaron Rodgers claimed that the WR was the best player in the league at the moment. That is a bold claim by the MVP.

Who were the best?

The team of the week:

  • QB Patrick Mahomes (Chiefs) 34.90
  • RB Saquon Barkley (Giants) 33.40
  • RB Jonathan Taylor (Colts) 27.50
  • WR Justin Jefferson (Vikings) 39.40
  • WR Cooper Kupp (Rams) 31.80
  • W/T Davante Adams (Raiders) 30.10
  • K Younghoe Koo (Falcons) 18.00
  • DEF Pittsburgh (Steelers) 24.00

Total points: 239.10

The season has just begun, and anything can happen. So for those guys who had a bad starting week, remember it is not the way it starts but how it ends. Do so now if you haven’t picked DeAndre Hopkins or Odell Beckham Jr from the waivers. They will be back and will add real value to your fantasy team.
