Fantasy Football top scorers by position: NFL 2024 week 8

With several players back from injuries this week and a few quarterback changes, much of the fantasy points looked quite different this week.

ANDY LYONSAFP

Week 8 of the NFL season started off with the Minnesota Vikings being handed their second loss of the season at the hands of the Los Angeles Rams, who finally had both wide receivers Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua back in the game. On Sunday, the Kansas City Chiefs notched another W to keep their undefeated record at 7-0, beating the Las Vegas Raiders. Browns quarterback Jameis Winston led Cleveland to victory over the Baltimore Ravens and Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels launched a 52-yard Hail Mary pass to give Washington the last-second win over the Chicago Bears. The week finished off with Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson’s second victory, 26-18 over the New York Giants to make 22 straight Monday Night Football victories at the Steelers' home stadium.

As far as fantasy goes, it may be time to drop Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, who had just 0.54 points by the end of the third quarter before two fourth-quarter CeeDee Lamb touchdown passes saved his outcome from total disaster. Browns QB Jameis Winston may be the real deal, plus help the cases of TE David Njoku and WRs Elijah Moore and Jerry Jeudy. Cedric Tillman will be one to keep an eye on now as well. With Tua Tagovailoa back in action, Miami Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert sat on most people‘s benches racking up 16 points, but time will tell if he’s back for good.

With all that said, let’s take a look at who the top scorers were for fantasy in Week 8.
