Gisele Bundchen gives Tom Brady an ultimatum: What did the top model tell her husband?

Supermodel Gisele Bundchen has given her husband Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady an ultimatum amid reports that they are getting a divorce.

Update:
Gisele Bündchen revela los motivos de su divorcio con Tom Brady

Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen have officially filed for divorce, as of Friday 28 October 2022. The pair filed similar messages on Instagram saying that “co-parenting” would be their priority. In total the couple were married for 13 years; they have two children together, Benjamin (12) and Vivian (9). They also parent Brady’s first child Jack (15), who he had with former girlfriend Bridget Moynahan.

In breaking the news to his followers, Brady said that the couple “arrived at this decision [to divorce] amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together.” Brady said the priority for the couple is their children and that they plan to “work together as parents” to “ensure they receive the love and attention they deserve.”

Bündchen ultimatum to Brady

Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen has reportedly given her husband Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady an ultimatum: leave the NFL or she leaves him forever.

“Gisele told Tom either he leaves football to spend time with the family or she is gone for good,” according to a source who spoke to Us Weekly.

The 42-year-old is not only making the demand to get Brady to give their family more time: she is also concerned about his health.

She doesn’t want him to continue to get injured and not be able to enjoy life in the future. She is doing it for her family,” added the insider.

Repeated conversations on the same issue

In an interview with Elle for their cover story this month, the fashion icon shared that she is worried about the toll that football is taking on her husband.

“Obviously, I have my concerns- this is a very violent sport, and I have my children and I would like him to be more present. I have definitely had those conversations with him over and over again,” she said.

Bundchen’s worries are not without basis. Football players are constantly exposed to the risk of injury, some of them very serious. For example, many NFL players have suffered from chronic traumatic encephalopathy or CTE, a degenerative brain disease, which is caused by repeated hits to the head.

Boston University researchers found that 99% of the brains of former NFL athletes that they studied showed that they suffered from CTE.

Brady’s un-retirement

The 45-year-old quarterback had announced that he was retiring from professional football earlier this year, only to go back on his word six weeks later. His Tampa Bay Buccaneers are currently on a two-loss streak, as he has had his worst start to the season in 20 years.

Bundchen and Brady were reported to be living separately last month, then soon after, they were said to have hired divorce lawyers.
