How many times have the Philadelphia Eagles won the Super Bowl?
The Eagles are in the Super Bowl for the second time in the last five years, but the last time they had this good a run was before the Super Bowl era.

The Philadelphia Eagles are playing in the Super Bowl this Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs. This season, quarterback Jalen Hurts took them on a 14-3 run (which isn’t even fair to say, because they actually only lost one game with Hurts as the starter) to end the regular season as NFC East champions and the no. 1 seed in the NFC.

How many times have the Eagles been to the Super Bowl?
Though the Eagles have won just one Super Bowl (so far), they had a good run in the early years before the Super Bowl existed. They won four NFL championships in 1948, 1949, 1960, and 1978. In fact, the game they won in ‘78 was against the New York Giants and it popularized the “quarterback kneel” because the Giants fumbled when trying to run out the clock, leading to the Eagles’ victory.

The Eagles are making their fourth-ever Super Bowl appearance, but have so far won just one. Their first Super Bowl appearance was in the 1980-81 season when they lost to the Oakland Raiders 27-10. They then went on a 24-year drought, not making it to another Super Bowl until the 2004-05 season, when they lost to the New England Patriots. In the 207-18 season, they finally got their revenge and their first Super Bowl victory.

They won it that year against the New England Patriots 41-33 to become Super Bowl champions for the first time in history. At that time, it was Nick Foles who started at quarterback, filling in for injured Carson Wentz. Now, the Eagles will look to make it two when they take on the Chiefs this Sunday.
