How much do Patrick Mahomes and Joe Burrow make? Net worth and salary
The Bengals and Chiefs meet in the AFC Championship Game for the second year running, and both quarterbacks are bona fide NFL stars
The storyline prior to last year’s AFC Championship Game was experience vs jitters. Well, not this year. In a repeat performance, the Kansas City Chiefs will be hosting the Cincinnati Bengals in the decider for who represents the conference in the Super Bowl.
Last season, there were doubts that a quarterback like Joe Burrow, making his first appearance in a high-stakes game, could withstand the noise of the Arrowhead crowd, or steel the nerves to make big plays when it counted. A year on, and those questions have been well and truly answered.
Showing that he is no flash in the pan, Burrow has led the Bengals on a run this season that is every bit as thrilling as last year’s Super Bowl trip. And yet again, that run has led him here, to Arrowhead stadium and a face-off with one of the few quarterbacks in the NFL who can know intimately the journey that he is on.
Patrick Mahomes is the NFL’s wunderkind. He entered the NFL just three years before Burrow and similarly made it to the Super Bowl in his third season, the major difference being that the Chiefs won Super Bowl LIV.
Both of these quarterbacks have taken the league by storm, and both have been handsomely rewarded for it.
