Update:

On Sunday, the Seattle Seahawks will host the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC Conference Championship with a Super Bowl LX berth on the line. As you might imagine, tickets to see Sam Darnold and Matthew Stafford face off at Lumen Field come at a steep cost.

The historically high cost of the NFC Championship

In fact, tickets for the Seahawks-Rams NFC Title Game are among some of the most expensive in NFL history. The cheapest tickets available on Ticketmaster range from $650 to $760 with StubHub and Vivid Seats offering around that same range.

The average price for a ticket to the NFC game is around $1,421. Premium seats in the lower bowl range from $1,000 to over $2,500. If you want to buy a seat in the 100 level or around the 50-yard line, you can expect to pay somewhere in the ballpark of $8,000 and $10,000.

Prices have been volatile, with some reports showing a dip of nearly $300 from earlier highs.

Why fans are paying the premium

Of course, the price isn’t just about the stage. It’s about the matchup. Sunday’s NFC Championship features two teams that know each other well and quarterbacks with very different paths to this moment. Sam Darnold’s resurgence in Seattle has been one of the league’s most unexpected storylines this season, while Matthew Stafford is once again one win away from another Super Bowl appearance, this time trying to do it on the road in one of the NFL’s loudest environments.

Add in the Rams–Seahawks rivalry, the intensity of a conference title game, and the unique atmosphere of Lumen Field, and it’s easier to understand why demand has surged. Seattle has not hosted an NFC Championship Game in years, and opportunities to see a Super Bowl berth clinched at home are rare, and thus often expensive.

For those watching from the stands, the cost is steep. But with a Super Bowl berth on the line, the noise inside Lumen Field could be priceless.
