It’s a tradition as old as most sports themselves. Whether in front of a screen, listening to the radio, or in the stadium itself, few things complete the experience of watching a professional sport like having an ice-cold beer in hand. Yet, what’s the cost of such a thing today in the NFL? Let’s find out.

The price of ‘A Cold One’ in the NFL

As we know very well, the price of attending professional sporting events today continues to rise. Whether it’s an NBA game, an evening of tennis at Wimbledon, a high-octane Sunday at a Formula 1 circuit, or a night of gridiron grit in the NFL, the cost of entry can be unbelievably high depending on how close you want to get to the action. With that in mind, you can probably imagine that so too are the prices when it comes to snacks and of course drinks, especially beer. To that end, we’ve got the breakdown of beer prices across the NFL, so that you can see for yourself the difference between fans in Dallas paying $9.50 for the beverage during the last season, and Bengals fans paying $5.53. Let’s dive in.

For starters, we should make it clear that there is no stadium in the NFL today where one can get themselves a budget beer. Indeed, in some stadiums, a 16-ounce glass of that golden-colored liquid that we love can cost as much as $15, with a national average coming in at around, $9.56. Of course, it’s reasonable to assume that there are a number of reasons why beer is so expensive at games, with concerns often being raised about the behavior of fans who are given access to the beverage at a lower cost, however, it does nothing to negate the idea that almost $10 for a pint of beer is still a lot of money. So, how much are we talking? Below we’ve got a list of all beer prices across the NFL according to Bookies.com as of the 2022-23 NFL season.
