The Saints have an upcoming game on Thursday, and since they didn’t hold practice on Monday, the injury report only contains estimated participation levels. In their previous game on Sunday, they listed eight players on the injury report, and five of them would not have practiced.

The two most prominent names on the report are Chris Olave and Ryan Ramczyk, both listed as non-participants. Since they missed Sunday’s game, they have a quick turnaround time to recover before Thursday’s game.

Will Chris Olave play on Thursday?

Chris Olave’s season has been a mixed bag so far. Despite having the potential to be a breakout star for the Saints, he has been inconsistent and has struggled to make a significant impact. However, in the last few games, he seemed to have found his rhythm and was on track to finish the season on a high note. Unfortunately, his progress was derailed when he suffered an ankle injury two weeks ago.

As a result of his injury, Olave could not practice last week. Despite this setback, he was still considered a game-time decision for Week 15′s game against the Giants. However, he was ultimately ruled out after testing his ankle in pre-game warmups. This disappointed Olave’s owners, who were hoping for his strong performance.

Looking ahead to Week 16, Olave’s status remains uncertain. He was estimated to be a “DNP” on Monday, which is worrying news for his owners. Nevertheless, he still has two more chances to practice before Thursday’s game against the Rams.

Assuming he is healthy enough to play, Olave is a must-start player. He has developed a great rapport with Derek Carr since Week 9, and the two have connected on 28 of 39 targets for 401 yards and three touchdowns in just over four games. Olave’s ability to make big plays and his speed make him a challenging opponent for any defense.

If Olave is active and healthy, he should be able to put up the second wide receiver numbers against the Rams’ defense. The Rams are ranked 13th in fantasy points allowed to wide receivers, so there is a good chance that Olave will be able to make an impact if he plays. However, even if he sees fewer snaps, his presence on the field should be enough to make a difference for the Saints.
