Jalen Hurts showed that he not only has a great throwing arm but mighty legs as well when he broke a 23-year-old record for the most rushing touchdowns by a quarterback in the Super Bowl.

Steve McNair had a total of 64 yards tallied on the ground in Super Bowl XXXIV, but Hurts surpassed it in the third quarter of the championship game against the Kansas City Chiefs with a two-yard run, after racking up 63 yards in the first half.

Hurts also made the NFL record books by becoming the first player to run for two touchdowns in the first two quarters of the Super Bowl, and the first quarterback with three rushing touchdowns in the finals.

The 24-year-old had made excellent use of his leg abilities during their whole campaign, powering the Eagles with 13 touchdowns in the regular season and two more in the team’s first two games in the playoffs.
