On a two-game skid, there’s no way to overstate the importance of the Philadelphia Eagles seeing their quarterback return to the fold. It’s game on.

With the Eagles’ star having previously been listed as questionable ahead of the team’s ‘Monday Night Football’ game, this is very welcome news for a team that started hot and has cooled off at the worst time.

Eagles’ Jalen Hurts will play against Seattle Seahawks

There’s good news for the Philadelphia Eagles with reports confirming that quarterback Jalen Hurts will be available for Monday night’s game against the Seattle Seahawks. This is of course a major boost for the Eagles as they try to bring an end to a two-game losing streak. If you caught our earlier report, you will know that hurts had been listed as questionable on Sunday morning due to an illness. Indeed, he traveled separately from the team to minimize the risk of infection. This of course follows on from reports that confirmed Hurts did not train on Friday despite receiving no game designation. As we know, the 25-year-old’s condition worsened overnight.

What if Jalen Hurts isn’t good to go?

That would result in backup quarterback Marcus Mariota taking the field. As a starter for his previous team - the Atlanta Falcons in 2022 - the former No. 2 overall (2015) went 5-8. That’s to say that while he is dependable under center, the Eagles will be hoping that Hurts beaten whatever bug he’s been battling. On the season so far, the Eagles starter has completed 66.5% of his passes for 3,192 yards, 19 touchdowns and a career-high 10 interceptions. As for the Eagles, they are currently sitting on a 10-3 record and still have a shot at the NFC title. Whether Hurts is fully fit or not, it goes without saying that this is a critical moment for the team.
