Jaxon Smith-Njigba injury status: Seahawks receiver in medical tent at Super Bowl LX
Midway through the third quarter the Seattle Seahawks star headed to the locker room.
The Seattle Seahawks raced to a 12-0 lead at Super Bowl LX but a knock to star receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba may be causing coach Mike Macdonald some concern.
MIdway through the third quarter, Smith-Njigba took a hit on a Seahawks drive and was slow to get to his feet. Soon after he was seen receiving treatment on the sideline and then, with three minutes remaining in the third quarter, Smith-Njigba went to the blue medical tent to receive treatment.
Smith-Njigba was reportedly subjected to a concussion evaluation after receiving a knock to the head on that earlier play. Following that, he went down the tunnel and entered the locker room. The team has not yet issued an official update on his condition.
