Josh Jacobs sends strong message to Cowboys after Packers’ stunning loss

The Dallas Cowboys should be nervous heading into their Week 4 game against the Green Bay Packers, who are coming off their first loss of the season.

Update:

The Dallas Cowboys are having a rough season so far and it’s not going to get easier from here. They gave up more than 30 points to both the New York Giants and the Chicago Bears. In their Week 3 loss to the Bears, they scored just one touchdown. Even in their only win against the Giants, they had to fight to stay in it.

The Packers, on the other hand, just suffered their first loss of the season in a 13-10 upset against the Cleveland Browns, where defensive end Myles Garrett and the league’s top-ranked defense stifled running back Josh Jacobs and the Green Bay offense.

That the Packers just lost to the Browns may be the worst thing that could happen to the Cowboys as they prepare to face them in Week 4.

“We’re going to come out hungry”: Josh Jacobs fires warning at Dallas

The Week 4 game between the Cowboys and Packers was already going to be interesting as it will be the first time Dallas faces Micah Parsons after trading him to Green Bay. Parsons will be out to prove why Dallas made a huge mistake.

Not only that, but now that they’ve suffered a humiliating loss to Cleveland, the Packers are going to be angry. And an angry Pack should terrify the Cowboys, whose defense made Russell Wilson and Caleb Williams look like Tom Brady, and whose offensive line allowed Prescott to be sacked five times in the last two games.

In the Packers’ loss to the Browns, Jacobs was limited to 30 yards on 16 carries, ending his streak of 12 straight games with a rushing touchdown. Despite the setback, Jacobs delivered a subtle warning to the Cowboys.

“I think we’re going to come out hungry,” Jacobs shared. “I really feel bad for whoever see this team next. I can tell this bothered a lot of the guys in this room. I know we’re gonna come out hungry this next week.”

The Cowboys better be ready. The game kicks off from AT&T Stadium at 8:20 p.m. ET this Sunday, September 28. I’ll be here to bring you all the live coverage right here on AS USA.
