Denver adjusts its game-day roster before Sunday’s finale as injuries affect the linebacker group and playoff positioning remains on the line.

Late roster change ahead of Broncos–Chargers Week 18 clash

Sunday’s regular-season finale carries major weight for the Denver Broncos, with the AFC’s top seed still in play as the Chargers arrive at Empower Field.
Bailey elevated for Broncos
As preparations continued this weekend, Denver confirmed a minor but necessary roster move. Inside linebacker Levelle Bailey has been elevated from the practice squad and will be available for the game. The decision follows earlier news that linebackers Dre Greenlaw and Karene Reid will not suit up, leaving the Broncos to adjust their depth for the final game of the schedule.
Bailey has seen limited action this season, appearing in two games and contributing on special teams. His most recent appearance came in Week 17 against Kansas City. Last year, he featured more regularly, playing in 10 games during his rookie campaign and recording five tackles.

While Bailey’s role has largely been on special teams, his elevation ensures he can be part of the active lineup if needed on Sunday.
The Broncos host the Los Angeles Chargers at 4:25 p.m. ET and you can follow all the build up and action live with our very own Jennifer Bubel right here on AS USA. A win would secure the No. 1 seed in the AFC and close the regular season with home-field advantage locked in.
