Update:

With the dust still settling after Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans where the Philadelphia Eagles cruised past Kansas City in a very one-sided game, the Chiefs now must look to the future.

Players across the league are taking some well deserved time out after an intense season as thoughts turn to training camps and pre-season later in the summer.

Speaking post game, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes claimed that losing a Super Bowl was: “the worst feeling in the world” adding that the feeling “will stick with you the rest of your career.” He added that he will use the loss as motivation moving forward.

New look for Mahomes

While attending his grandfather’s funeral this week, the Chiefs player was spotted with a distinctive new new hairstyle, which looks markedly different than his usual short-on-the-sides-but-long-on-top taper fade.

Mahomes’ new style features a tighter crop and gone are the signature wavy curls with many fans speculating on social media that this new style is a way for the 29-year-old to break with the past as he looks to put the New Orleans defeat behind him.
