This one, titled “America’s Team: The Gambler and His Cowboys”, will feature Cowboys owner Jerry Jones. Netflix announced the series last year and have finally released the date for the premiere: August 19.

From Aikman to Irvin: Netflix’s new Cowboys doc is packed with legends

The series will focus on Jones and the Cowboys’ iconic rise in the 1990s. Featuring the triplets - Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith, and Michael Irvin - plus other Cowboys legends like Deion Sanders and coaches Jimmy Johnson and Barry Switzer, the series will explore Jones’ bold business decisions that helped turn the Cowboys into a global sports powerhouse.

The documentary promises exclusive interviews and never-before-seen footage, detailing the transformation of the team and their three Super Bowl titles, plus appearances from notable fans like former President George W. Bush and Nike founder Phil Knight.
