NFL Draft 2024 live online: First-round picks, teams, players and big board updates

For as much as it seems that the 2024 NFL Draft is locked in and has been for months now, there is always an outside chance that the landscape will tilt dramatically in the final seconds.

With rumors that the LA Rams are interested in trying to trade up for a top ten pick, the bigger noise is coming out of New England.

The Rams have not had a first-round pick since 2016, when they took Jared Goff number one overall. Currently slotted at the number 19 overall, the Rams are reportedly calling around and sniffing out a possible deal that cold be made to get them into the top ten.

There are similar noises about the Philadelphia Eagles as well, who currently have the number 22 pick.

But the biggest noise is surrounding the New York Giants, who are perhaps closest to a deal with the New England Patriots for the number three overall pick. The Giants are very hot on Drake Maye and seem to want him badly, but the Patriots had previously described their offers as “laughable.”

The proof, as they say, may be in the pudding, since bookmakers have Drake Maye as the odds-on favorite to go third in the draft. The Patriots hold that spot, but these same bookmaker are giving better odds for the Pats taking JJ McCarthy with their first pick. Do the bookies know something we don’t? Will the Pats do a deal for the number three pick? It is all down to the wire!
