One last time: Bills offer fans $20 an hour before Week 18 clash with Jets
With Highmark Stadium snowed under for its final regular-season game, Buffalo is paying fans to help dig it out.

With the final week of the NFL regular season fast approaching, one of the weekend’s most symbolic matchups will take place in Orchard Park. The Buffalo Bills host the New York Jets in a game that will also serve as the final regular-season contest ever played at Highmark Stadium, as Buffalo prepares to move into a new home next season.
As the stadium gets ready to say goodbye to regular-season football, and with the playoffs still looming, the Bills have made a request to their fan base ahead of Sunday’s game.
Winter is here. 🥶

Heavy snowfall blankets Highmark Stadium
Severe winter weather in the Buffalo area over the past several weeks has left the stadium buried under snow. Recent storms have dumped more than 10 inches of accumulation, completely covering the seating bowl and surrounding areas.
As a result, the Bills have issued a public call for help.
In a statement shared on social media and on the team’s official website, the Bills asked for volunteers to assist with snow removal at Highmark Stadium so the venue can be ready for kickoff against the Jets.
$20 per hour, plus food and hot drinks
The team is seeking volunteers who are at least 18 years old. Interested fans can register through the Bills’ official website to be considered for the snow-clearing work. Those selected will be paid $20 per hour.
Buffalo also announced that volunteers will be provided with food and hot beverages during their shifts, a welcome perk given the freezing conditions expected during the cleanup.
Bills aim to climb AFC standings in Week 18
Buffalo enters Week 18 as the No. 7 seed in the AFC, but the Bills still have a path to move up as high as the No. 5 seed, depending on how the final weekend unfolds.
To reach that spot, Buffalo must beat the Jets and get some help elsewhere. The Texans would need to lose to the Colts, and the Broncos would need to take care of business against the Chargers.
If those results fall into place, the Bills would open the playoffs on the road in the wild-card round, with a chance to host a divisional-round game depending on the outcomes across the AFC.
Before any of that can happen, though, Buffalo needs help digging out its stadium for one last regular-season Sunday at Highmark.
