Ouch! Lamar Jackson gets brutal comparison from former Steelers star
A retired Pittsburgh defender reignited a familiar debate by questioning whether Lamar Jackson can ever deliver a title for Baltimore.

Baltimore’s stumble on Thanksgiving opened the door for rival commentary, and one former Pittsburgh Steeler wasted no time taking a swing. Hours after the Ravens were handled 32-14 by Cincinnati, retired defensive tackle Breiden Fehoko resurfaced an argument that has followed Lamar Jackson for years: dazzling in the regular season, unproven when the stakes rise.
Former Steeler revives playoff narrative
Fehoko, who spent last summer in Steelers camp before retiring, posted on X that Baltimore “will never win a Super Bowl behind Lamar Jackson,” likening him to “Michael Vick with better PR.” The comparison drew instant reaction, partly because it echoed a persistent external narrative about Jackson’s postseason record and durability.
Ravens will never win a Super Bowl behind Lamar Jackson man. The individual regular season accolades will never equate to winning football in the playoffs. He’s Michael Vick with better PR.

Jackson numbers has him placed among the league’s elite, but his clashes with Pittsburgh have often been unforgiving. In eight career games against the Steelers, he is 3-5 with eight touchdowns, nine interceptions and 1,284 passing yards, plus 330 rushing yards. Baltimore has managed just one win at Acrisure Stadium with Jackson starting.
Lamar and the Eagles
It’s fair to say that opinions in sport can quickly change. We’re a fickle bunch. So it came as little surprise on Friday when Fehoko took a step back from the harsh criticism.
“Watching Jalen Hurts right now and Lamar Jackson truthers I apologize I was way too harsh last night. Lamar on the eagles would have 4 Super Bowls by now.”
