Update:

After earlier worries regarding his fitness, Lamar Jackson looks set to make a stunning return to the side as the Baltimore Ravens take on the New York Jets in Week 12 of the season.

Jackson had missed Wednesday’s practice due to an ankle injury, just a week after missing a Wednesday session the week before knee problems. The 28-year-old missed three games with a hamstring injury earlier this season.

This absence from practice sparked a wave of media and fan reaction, with everyone involved in the sport frantically worried that yet another physical issue would hamper his much-anticipated return to the field.

Further fuelling the fire were the comments from coach John Harbaugh, who kept his cards close to his chest when asked about Jackson’s official status, saying: “I know it’s Lamar, it’s our quarterback. I understand how important it is, and it wasn’t his best interest [to] practice today. And we’ll see where we’re at [Thursday].”

However, Jackson managed to be a full participant on both Thursday and Friday, and is now removed from the injury list ahead of the upcoming game.

Across seven games in 2025, Jackson has completed 117 of 172 passes (68.0 %) for 1,442 yards, 15 touchdowns and 3 interceptions, with a passer rating of 115.5.

Across the whole Ravens’ roster, here’s how things look: Isaiah Likely fully participated in practice despite a calf issue. Marlon Humphrey took part fully with a finger injury, and Justice Hill participated fully despite a toe issue. Kyle Hamilton was fully involved in practice with a shoulder concern, and Andrew Vorhees practiced fully despite a foot injury. Ronnie Stanley returned to full participation after missing time due to illness, and Roquan Smith practiced fully despite a hamstring issue. Rashod Bateman and Keyon Martin were both out, with Bateman dealing with an ankle injury and Martin sidelined by a rib issue.
