Reporter suggests Trump influenced Browns’ decision to draft Shedeur Sanders
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt humorously suggested that former President Donald Trump’s public support may have influenced the Cleveland Browns’ decision to draft quarterback Shedeur Sanders. Sanders, son of NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders, was selected in the fifth round of the 2025 NFL Draft, despite earlier projections placing him in the first round.
