Jalen Hurts claimed Super Bowl MVP honors, completing 17 of 22 passes for 221 yards, with one touchdown pass, one interception, and a rushing touchdown. On the opposing side, Patrick Mahomes finished 21 of 32, throwing for 257 yards with three touchdown passes, but also suffered two interceptions and was sacked six times.

What did Mahomes say to Jalen Hurts?
Many fans were curious about the exchange between the two quarterbacks after the game, when they embraced on the field. The NFL later released a video on its YouTube channel titled “NFL Super Bowl LIX Mic’d Up: ‘Is Jalen Hurts gonna smile now?’”
In the footage, Mahomes can be heard congratulating Hurts, saying: “Hey man. Congratulations. I’m proud of the way you did it. Hell of a way to do it! Enjoy it, enjoy it!”
