Rihanna’s Super Bowl halftime show press conference: Date, time, how to watch online
The Barbadian singer will make her first appearance on stage since the Grammy Awards in 2018 at the Super Bowl 2023.
The Kansas City Chiefs face off against the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl 2023 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona on Sunday in the most eagerly-anticipated match of the NFL season. For some, including Patrick Mahomes’ family, just as exciting is the prospect of Rihanna following in the footsteps of the likes of Beyoncé, Prince and Michael Jackson by headlining the halftime show in what will be her first appearance on stage since the Grammy Awards in 2018. Before making her comeback on Sunday, the singer will also take part in an interview in a halftime show press conference in collaboration with Apple, which will take place on Thursday.

How to watch Rihanna’s Super Bowl halftime show press conference:
It was announced in September that Rihanna would be making her long-awaited return to the stage at Sunday’s Super Bowl, a somewhat surprising move given that she had previously rejected the opportunity in 2019. “There’s things within that organization (the NFL) that I do not agree with at all, and I was not about to go and be of service to them in any way”, she said at the time. Now, however, the Barbadian artist, who teased her Super Bowl look in a short 30-second video clip earlier this week, has had a change of heart: “If I’m going to leave my baby, I’m going to leave my baby for something special”.
A comeback tour on the cards for Rihanna?
Rihanna has been out of the limelight – in a musical sense, in any case – since that Grammy appearance in 2018, during which time she has had her aforementioned son, launched a beauty and fashion empire and become a philanthropist focusing on climate justice, domestic violence and COVID relief. But now is seems as if the ‘Rihturn’ is upon us, with speculation running wild that the singer is gearing up to announce her first tour since 2016. Apple Music Radio’s Nadeska Alexis will interview Rihanna at the Super Bowl halftime show press conference, when maybe we will find out more.
