Shedeur Sanders admits he is “not comfortable” with one thing at the Browns
The Browns QB admitted that he was “not comfortable” with his current position in the side.

When Shedeur Sanders took the field as the starting quarterback for Cleveland Browns last Sunday, he made history as the first Browns quarterback in thirty years to win his very first NFL start.
He completed 11 of 20 passes for 209 yards, tossing one touchdown and one interception while guiding the Browns to a 24–10 win over the Las Vegas Raiders.
However, despite this promising debut, Sanders refused to bask in the glow of the moment. In his own words, he openly admitted he was “definitely not comfortable” in his new role.

“I’m never comfortable... I always want to exceed expectations”
He explained that, while the win obviously opened the door for him to remain QB1, he’s under no illusions and intends to use the opportunity to push himself further. “So I’m never comfortable in a situation I’m in. I always want to exceed expectations, and I always want to grow in each and every week, I would want to put a better product of myself, be a better version of myself for the team to be out there.”
“Day by day, minute by minute, meeting by meeting, of course,” Sanders said when asked about his growing connection with his teammates. “I’m getting a little bit more comfortable and comfortable in being in that role, being in that position. They’re getting more comfortable with me, also. So I’m excited, I’m happy for it, and I’m just thankful.”
Shedeur Sanders is the ONLY QB in league history to have multiple 50+ yard passes in his first start.

His head coach, Kevin Stefanski, said that Sanders’ composure was a key factor in his solid performance: “He’s always done a nice job of that. What we appreciate about all of our players is authenticity. He’s the same guy every single day. Obviously game day, there’s juice that comes with that. There’s excitement that comes with that, but he’s played that position for a long time. He knows how to make sure he keeps the main thing.”
