Update:

The NFL Player’s Association conducts an annual survey for the players in order to improve the conditions for each team. This year’s report cards were released on Wednesday. The Miami Dolphins ranked first overall, while the Arizona Cardinals ranked last.

There are 11 different categories for the NFL players to rank their team, including the quality of facilities, ownership, and head coach. On the latter category, six head coaches received perfect scores.

Of the 32 teams, only six head coaches received an A+ in the “head coach” category. The Super Bowl champions Philadelphia Eagles weren’t one of them, although Nick Sirianni didn’t do too bad, receiving an A- from his players.

The six head coaches with perfect scores on NFLPA report card:

  • Dan Quinn, Washington Commanders
  • Raheem Morris, Atlanta Falcons
  • Kevin O’Connell, Minnesota Vikings
  • Andy Reid, Kansas City Chiefs
  • Dan Campbell, Detroit Lions
  • Mike McDaniel, Miami Dolphins

The Commanders' hiring head coach Dan Quinn at the start of the 2024 season was one of the major factors that helped launch them from the worst-ranked for the last two years straight, to 11th overall this year. Quinn was the highest-ranked of all the head coaches after leading the Commanders to their first NFC title in 33 years.

Raheem Morris, who came in 2nd in the head coaching category on the Falcons' report card, is another newbie to earn a top mark. All the Falcons players who were surveyed said Morris is “highly receptive” to feedback and efficient with their time.
