Did Taylor Swift go to Chiefs Super Bowl parade with Travis Kelce on Valentine’s Day?
With Chiefs’ Super Bowl 2024 celebrations planned for Wednesday 14 February, Swift was forced into making a big decision around her busy diary.

What a lucky charm she has been, some have said. Others remind us that she wasn’t around the previous year. Either way, Taylor Swift’s relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce blossomed across the season and she was right there all the way to the Super Bowl, eventually celebrating with her man as the team led by Andy Reid and starring Patrick Mahomes ran out winners over the San Francisco 49ers. That was Sunday.
Now, just three days later, it is time for all the lovebirds out there to celebrate Valentine’s Day and as fortune would have it, the Chiefs are having their triumphant Super Bowl victory parade on Wednesday 14 February, with it all kicking off at 11 a.m. local time, followed by a rally around 12:45 p.m. Perfect timing, right?
Kansas City has budgeted $2.2 million for this year's Super Bowl parade, with over 500,000 people expected to attend on Wednesday.

Swift and Kelce apart for Valentine’s
Wrong, unfortunately. Given Taylor’s ongoing Eras Tour in Australia has her due to be on stage wowing her own fans from 6 p.m. local time on Friday (that’s 1 a.m. in Kansas City), attending the parade was never going to be ideal preparation. While it would theoretically have been possible for her to jet in – a private plane clearly helps – the logistics did seem rather daunting.

Despite her feat of making it to Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas straight from Tokyo, attending the parade would’ve been quite the stretch given the 20-hour flight time, and TMZ did indeed report on Wednesday she had already touched down in Australia, leaving Kelce to celebrate in Kansas City with teammates, friends and family, but not his significant other.

The 34-year-old songstress is scheduled for three performances in Melbourne from February 16 to 18, followed by four shows in Sydney from February 23 to 26. After this whirlwind of performances, she’ll enjoy a brief respite before jetting off to Singapore for shows starting on 2 March, and then a monster set of European venues from 9 May. Expectations are that Kelce will be the one playing the supporting role this time around... at least until training starts up again as the Chiefs eye an unprecedented Super Bowl three-peat.
