Terry Bradshaw unleashes on Aaron Rodgers: “That guy needs to stay in California. Go somewhere and chew on bark”
The Pittsburgh Steelers have been holding out for quarterback Aaron Rodgers, and former QB Terry Bradshaw criticized both the organization and Rodgers.
The Pittsburgh Steelers have been pursuing quarterback Aaron Rodgers for the 2025 NFL season. But Rodgers has been dealing with personal issues, including caring for a close friend battling cancer, and has not made choosing an NFL team his priority.
Rodgers visited with the team earlier this offseason, but there’s still a chance he could retire instead, as nothing is yet signed. But this week, he strongly hinted that he would be joining the Steelers at some point this season.
Well, one former Steelers quarterback does not like how all this is unfolding.
Terry Bradshaw hits out on Steelers and Rodgers
The Steelers began their OTAs this week before training camp starts later this summer. Without Rodgers, their quarterback room consists of Mason Rudolph, Skylar Thompson, and rookie Will Howard.
But the team is reportedly willing to wait a little while longer for Rodgers to make a decision because they see him as worth the wait. Former Steelers quarterback Terry Bradshaw does not see it that way.
“That’s a joke. That to me is just a joke,” Bradshaw said on 103.7 The Buzz. “What are you gonna do? Bring him in for one year, are you kidding me? That guy needs to stay in California. Go somewhere and chew on bark and whisper to the gods out there.”
Former Steelers head coach Matt LeFleur is confident that Rodgers will become a Pittsburgh Steeler though, telling Kay Adams he trusts the organization.
