“That man don’t got to fit in, he stands out” - CeeDee Lamb heaps praise on George Pickens
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver George Pickens is living up to the hype and fellow WR CeeDee Lamb has nothing but positive things to say about his teammate.

This offseason, the Dallas Cowboys acquired wide receiver George Pickens from the Pittsburgh Steelers. While there were some concerns about his discipline and off-field behavior, most of the reactions were positive as he looked to complete a dynamic receiving duo alongside CeeDee Lamb.
While he was relatively quiet in Week 1, Pickens lived up to the hype in Week 2 in the Cowboys’ win over the New York Giants. And Lamb heaped praise upon his teammate.
Through 2 games, opposing defenders have committed 3 pass interference penalties (79 yards) against Cowboys WR George Pickens. Dallas has scored on all three possessions (17 points).

CeeDee Lamb says there’s more where that came from with George Pickens
Lamb has been Dallas’ number one wide receiver for a while now, and it’s also been a while since he had a solid WR2 alongside him. While he’s still the WR1, Lamb emphasized all offseason that he and Pickens were “both ones”.
In the Cowboys’ overtime victory vs the Giants on Sunday, Pickens had five catches on nine targets for 68 yards and a touchdown. When asked about how Pickens was fitting into the team, Lamb had this to say:
“That man don’t got to fit in, he stands out. GP is a hell of a player, man. And there’s plenty more excitement where that’s coming from.”

We believe it. Pickens has shown flashes of greatness every year, but his behavioral issues have caused concern. In Dallas so far, though, he seems to be doing just fine, and the support he’s receiving from his teammates and coaches helps too. They don’t seem to be worried in the least.
Pickens is expected to continue playing a bigger role in Dallas. This Sunday, the Cowboys take on the Chicago Bears at 4:25 p.m. ET at Soldier Field. Follow along with our coverage of the game right here on AS USA!
