The NFL Conference Championship game which leads the way in terms of ticket demand
The road to the New Orleans Super Bowl LIX gets closer with just four teams remaining in contention.
Just four teams are left in the 2024-25 NFL season with the Commanders, Eagles, Bills and KC Chiefs all eyeing a place at the Caesars Superdome Super Bowl in New Orleans next month.
Kansas City are looking to secure a historic third back-to-back win after beating the Eagles in 2023 and the 49ers last year.
The Commanders are very much the team with the ‘underdog’ tag despite a sensational win at Ford Field last weekend when they delivered one of the shocks of the season beating the 15-2 Detroit Lions.
Commanders coach Dan Quinn is displeased about the tag stating: “Did we feel dismissed or put off? Yeah, I felt dismissed, ‘Hey man, hang in there it’s going to be a long time.’ I was like, ‘FU. That’s not how it’s going to go down.’ It wasn’t disrespect. It was dismissive.
“It’s not a prove it to everybody else or an underdog stories. It’s about how we get down.”
Bills looking for revenge
The Buffalo Bills have patiently been waiting four years to get revenge against the Chiefs in a rematch of a 2021 meeting that the Chiefs won 38-24 to reach the Super Bowl.
Bills coach Sean McDermott believes Buffalo will have more support in the stadium this time around (due to covid restrictions) but realises his team face a daunting task as they head to Arrowhead Stadium to face a Kansas City team who have won eight straight playoff games.
Despite, the AFC game offering a more attractive match-up, (at least on paper), it’s the game in Philly that is causing more furore in terms of ticket demand.
Ticket demand at Lincoln Financial Field
Tickets for Sunday’s game in Pennsylvania are in high demand with the lowest priced ticket currently available at $599 (standing room) as Eagles and Commanders fans clamor to see the action at close quarter. The few available tickets (via Ticketmaster) then jump to $665 for a section 212 ticket.
This contrasts with availability at Arrowhead Stadium where resale tickets are in plentiful supply with the cheapest tickets current available for $245 (via Ticketmaster).
