Update:

A snowy front is expected to play a starring role this Sunday in a high-stakes clash between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Buffalo Bills, conditions that could reshape the flow of the game entirely.

Forecasts point to steady snowfall over the course of the afternoon in Buffalo, where the Bills host the Bengals at their home ground.

NFL Network’s Cameron Wolfe, stood in the middle of the storm, put it like this: “Steve, it’s a snow game here in Buffalo. Expect it to snow all morning and through the game."

On the game itself, Wolfe highlighted that “this is the third meeting between Joe Burrow and Josh Allen. Burrow’s up 2–0. But James Cook told me this week, ‘I want no other quarterback in the world than Josh Allen. I’m behind him 100%. He’s going to take us where we need to go.’”

For Buffalo, the win would help cement their bid for the postseason, keeping pressure on the division front-runners. For Cincinnati, meanwhile, the matchup represents a last-ditch effort to stay relevant in a playoff chase that already feels precarious.

But beyond playoff implications, it’s the weather that could dominate attention. Snow during games often forces teams to pivot strategies: with slippery turf and reduced visibility, offences tend to lean heavily on the running game and short passes. Precision from quarterbacks and receivers becomes more difficult, while ball security and limiting turnovers rise in importance.

With that said, the home-field advantage could tilt further toward Buffalo. Their familiarity with wintry conditions, borne out of many past snow games, might give them an edge in both execution and endurance. What’s certain is that we’ve never had a boring snow game.
