Full details of the Philadelphia Eagles’ Super Bowl parade have been confirmed following their victory over the Kansas City Chiefs in New Orleans.

While the celebrations continue in Philadelphia after the Eagles' Super Bowl triumph over the Kansas City Chiefs, the team’s second NFL championship, details of when the players and coach Nick Sirianni celebrate the victory in person with the fans have been confirmed.
The Eagles will take the NFL trophy on a tour through the streets of the city of brotherly love, and Philly authorities have now outlined exactly how, where and when it will take place.
Super Bowl Parade confirmed for Friday 14
In an interview with 94 WIP sportsradio, Eagles President Don Smolenski was asked when the parade would be taking place. He explained that choosing a suitable day would depend on the forecast. It has now been confirmed it has been scheduled for Friday, February 14 - Saint Valentine’s Day, when a period of bad weather is expected to be over.

The parade will begin at Lincoln Financial Field at 11:00 a.m. ET and will finish up with a “formal program” in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art at approximately 2:00 p.m. ET, running until 3:15 p.m. ET.
Eagles' Super Bowl Parade confirmed route
The parade will set off at 11:00 a.m. from Broad Street and Pattison Avenue, heading north up Broad Street to South Penn Square. From there, it will make its way to the Philadelphia Museum of Art via 15th Street, John F. Kennedy Boulevard, 16th Street, Benjamin Franklin Parkway and Eakins Oval.
There will be significant travel delays caused by road/street closures. The City of Philadelphia has provided a full list on its website.
Will shops and schools be closed for the Eagles Super Bowl parade?
While it’s not a federal holiday, many services will close for the day, including all Philadelphia municipal government offices, Philadelphia Park and Recreation’s recreation, environmental, and older adult centers as well as city daytime centers, courts offices, public and parochial schools.

Businesses are permitted to maintain their usual hours of operation, although some may choose to close.
Trash and recycling pickups will be suspended until Saturday.
Public transport to the parade
The City of Philadelphia has advised parade-goers to park in commercial off-street parking lots and garages if driving downtown is absolutely necessary. On-street parking restrictions will begin at 6:00 p.m. ET on Thursday, February 13 and continue until 6:00 p.m. ET on Friday, February 14.
Attendees are, however, encouraged to use public transport. SEPTA will be “implementing a special parade day public transportation plan,” the precise details of which can be found on their website.
