Sunday night saw both the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs progress to next month’s LIX Super Bowl in New Orleans beating the Commanders and Bills respectively in the AFC Championship games.

The Sunday, February 9 game at the Caesars Superdome (home to the New Orleans Saints) is set to be a rematch of Super Bowl LVII which was played at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, in 2023; when the Chiefs edged out the Eagles 38-35.

That win in Arizona set the Chiefs on the road, coupled with last year’s win over the 49ers set the Arrowhead Stadium team on the road to becoming the first three-time NFL champions.

Should Andy Reid’s team win in New Orleans, they would join other American sports dynasties that have already managed to achieve the so-called ‘Three Peat’ (three titles in a row).
