Update:

The Baltimore Ravens’ 2024 season was a showcase of balance, dominance, and near-historic efficiency. Lamar Jackson led the endless thrills, scoring 4 rushing touchdowns and becoming the first QB in NFL history to surpass both 4,000 passing and 900 rushing yards in a single season, leading the Ravens to finish with a 12–5 record and clinch the AFC North title.

However, despite their domestic dominance early on, their Super Bowl hopes were cut short in a nail-biting Divisional Round loss to the Bills, a game Jackson is still not over.

Speaking to reporters after Tuesday’s minicamp practice, Jackson confidently proclaimed that the Ravens are “going to bounce back” next season, also revealing that he feels “like we’re going to have vengeance on our mind.”

‘I don’t think I get over any losses’

The game against the Bills was a lesson in fine margins at the top level. The Ravens’ defence, dominant all season, struggled to contain Josh Allen late into the match, especially on third downs, allowing the AFC East champions to rally from behind in the fourth quarter.

I don’t think I get over any losses, to be honest” Jackson admitted when asked about he gets over losing from an emotional standpoint, “I got losses from youth football that still haunt me.”

We wish we would have won the game,” Jackson added. “I wish I didn’t throw that interception. I wish I didn’t fumble. I wish the mishap [with Andrews] didn’t happen. But it happened. It’s just a lesson learned. So next time, we’re going to do something better", he promised.
