The entire NFL is in a state of shock over Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin, who suffered a heart attack during yesterday’s Monday Night Football game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

From around the sport many have offered their messages of support for Hamlin’s speedy recovery. Among them is Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback, Tom Brady, who this Tuesday said that everyone in Tampa is praying for the health of the 24-year-old safety.

“We are praying for Damar and his family this morning in Tampa. Moments like this put into perspective what it means to play this game we love. Thankful for our communities in Cincinnati and Buffalo for the overwhelming level of care and support I know they will continue to provide,” Brady wrote.

Other reactions from the NFL

A number of other players have reacted to what happened at Paul Brown Stadium, home of the Cincinnati Bengals, where Hamlin collapsed after tackling wide receiver Tee Higgins.

Patrick Mahomes was one of the first to react during the 'Monday Night Football' duel. “Praying hard. Please be okay man," wrote the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback.

Other who reacted, in addition to players from the Cincinnati Bengals and Buffalo Bills, was tight end Rob Gronkowski, who wrote: “All love and many prayers to Damar, his family and the Bills. We are with you.”
