Tom Brady reveals NFL’s most intimidating stadiums from his career
In the debut of “Story Time With Tom,” Tom Brady reflected on the toughest stadiums he faced during his 23-year NFL career, naming Arrowhead among them.

Tom Brady played in the NFL for more than two decades - much longer than the average player. So you could say he’s pretty seasoned in playing at all the different stadiums in the league, some of which have changed significantly in that time.
In the debut of “Story Time With Tom,” he reflected on the toughest stadiums he faced during his long-tenured career.
Brady shares stories from his most intimidating NFL road trips
Brady will be announcing the upcoming Super Bowl rematch game featuring the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs, hosted at Arrowhead Stadium. On the first edition of “Story Time With Tom”, which will premiere weekly throughout the 2025 NFL season, Brady recalled his first game at Arrowhead Stadium in 2004, calling it one of the loudest and most intimidating venues. While he won that matchup and later delivered a legendary win over Patrick Mahomes in the 2018 AFC Championship, he also suffered one of his worst games there in 2014.
“My first game in Arrowhead was in 2004, ‘Monday Night Football,’ Patriots vs Chiefs,” Brady recalled. “Arrowhead was rocking that night...All in all, a great night and knowing that was one of the toughest places to play against one of the great organizations. It meant a lot.”

Brady also listed the RCA Dome, home of the Colts during the Peyton Manning era, as another brutal road environment, highlighting the deafening crowd noise.
“That place was crazy to play,” Brady said. “Indianapolis Colts obviously had a great offense. So, whenever the offense did something good, the crowd went crazy. The fans were like right behind you on the bench.”
“When you sit there on the bench, you would hear them screaming right from behind you. It was so loud,” Brady went on. “When they pumped the crowd noise in, it made it even louder, because you couldn’t hear anything. That was the biggest challenge.”
He included Seattle’s Lumen Field as the toughest of the modern stadiums, citing his 2012 loss to the Seahawks and Richard Sherman’s famous “U Mad, Bro?” moment.
“That was the ‘U mad, bro?’ game. Sherm, what was up with that?”

“That place was crazy loud. 2012, we went there and, of course, it’s Seattle, it was misty rain,” Brady said. “It was Russell Wilson’s first year as the starting quarterback. They had the Legion of Boom, a young Richard Sherman and I think I threw two interceptions that day.”
