Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are having a very erratic season and as of Week 15 they have a losing 6-8 record.

Despite this disheartening tally, they sit at the top as leaders of the NFC South. This is because all the other teams in the division- the Carolina Panthers, New Orleans Saints and the Atlanta Falcons, have logged even more losses than the Buccaneers, all of them with an identical 5-9 count.

Brady’s first losing season

Brady, who has had his worst start to the season in 20 years, has acknowledged the struggles that he and his team are going through.

“Unfortunately we’ve had a very tough year, but we’ve learned from it and we’re trying to be better every day to achieve that goal,” said TB12.

The Bucs still have a ticket to the playoffs in their hands, but they need to hold onto the division lead for the remaining three weeks of play.

Brady recognizes that they must continue working to secure their pass to the postseason, and said that they’re going to fight with everything they have down the stretch of the regular season.

“This is not the time to feel sorry for yourself,” said the future Hall of Famer. The veteran quarterback admits they still have an opportunity to turn things around, as long as they do their job better.

“The sun came up today. We’ve got to do something about it. We woke up, we have a chance,” he said.

In Week 16, the Buccaneers will visit State Farm Stadium to face the Arizona Cardinals on December 25.
