Travis Etienne’s brother Trevor declares for NFL Draft
A loss for Georgia football is a gain for the NFL as Jaguars running back Travis Etienne’s younger brother Trevor will enter the 2025 NFL Draft.
The Georgia Bulldogs are losing a top talent in running back Trevor Etienne, as he announced he will enter the 2025 NFL Draft. The junior declared his intention to enter the draft on Instagram on Tuesday.
A second Etienne in the NFL
Trevor Etienne is the younger brother of Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne. He played for the Bulldogs for just one season, having transferred from Florida in 2024, but he helped them win the SEC Championship Game with 94 rushing yards and two touchdowns, including the game-winning score in overtime.
In his two seasons with the Gators, Etienne rushed for 1,472 yards and 14 touchdowns. As a starter for Georgia, he put up 609 rushing yards and nine touchdowns, plus 32 receptions for 194 receiving yards over 10 games. A rib injury and a one-game suspension due to a DUI arrest limited his playing time during the season. He finished behind freshman Nate Frazier in rushing yards and was fourth in receptions/receiving yards.
The 2025 NFL Draft will take place over three days, from Thursday, April 24 to Saturday, April 26 at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The Tennessee Titans, who finished the 2024 NFL season at 3-14, will have the first overall pick.
