Tyreek Hill’s opts to stay silent after Jalen Ramsey trade
Tyreek Hill has always been one of the most outspoken players in the league, but he chose to stay silent after news of the Jaylen Ramsey trade broke.
Tyreek Hill’s patience with the Miami Dolphins had already been running out following a sub par season that saw the Fins miss out on the playoffs. After news broke of the Dolphins trading away one of his buddies, and a top pass defender, Hill has been left speechless maybe for the first time ever.
Will he stay or will he go?
After the season, Hill told reporters “I’m out bro” following the Dolphins season finale which triggered speculation surrounding the wide receiver’s future in South Beach. He would later retract those statements saying that he doesn’t want to leave Miami, or the Dolphins.
“I do. I do. I don’t want to go nowhere,” he told Kay Adams on Fan Duel TV’s Up & Adams show. “I love it. My family loves it. Kids absolutely love being on the beach every morning. So it’s an amazing thing, man. said Hill back in February.
While the potential storm seems to be settled the Dolphins trade with the Pittsburgh Steelers drew another strong reaction from the Pro Bowl pass catcher. His good buddy, and one of the top DB’s on the team Jalen Ramsey was traded to the Steelers with Jonnu Smith for safety Minkah Fitzpatrick in a trade that will shake things up in the AFC.
Time to buy in to Coach McDaniel
When Hill heard about the news he went to Instagram and responded to the NFL’s post with a video of the Fresh Prince of Bel Air. The clip from the final episode, when Will Smith, is left in an empty house with everyone and everything cleared out of the place he called home.

The video gives you an idea of how Hill feels about the current situation in Miami. Even though it’s not a rebuilding phase yet, there is a sense that the Dolphins are getting farther away from being contenders after Hill made the playoffs in his first two years in Miami.
The Dolphins finished below .500 last year, but according to Hill’s statements a few months ago, he still believes in the process and in coach Mike McDaniel. “Obviously, this year was hard, but if guys continue to buy into what coach (Mike McDaniel) is building and the culture that he’s trying to build, it’s going to be a beautiful thing, man.”
